The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman

As part of the resort’s full renovation by Champalimaud Design, the interiors and exterior landscapes of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman were reimagined to blend modern coastal elegance with mid-century British Caribbean style.

Located on the famed Seven Mile Beach, the resort’s redesign embraces the island’s palette of deep blues, aquamarine seas, botanical greens, and sandy neutrals.

For this project, Stone Yard supplied 166 Cozzo Planters in a Zinc finish, carefully selected to support both interior and exterior applications—about 30% were installed outdoors—helping tie together public lobbies, courtyards, and transitional gathering spaces with a unified aesthetic.

The Cozzo Planter series features a pleated vertical-ridge profile, clean rim, and durable GFRC/Fiberstone construction, making it ideally suited for high-traffic hospitality environments that demand both sculptural refinement and commercial strength.

Together, the materiality of the planters and the resort’s bespoke finishes evoke the layered story of the Cayman Islands—where the white coral sands meet the polished sophistication of luxury resort design and the natural beauty of the sea converges with handmade craft.
